Scottie Vaccaro - Founder/Manager
Scottie Vaccaro was born on August 13, 1982 in Teaneck, NJ and was raised in Paterson, NJ.  Vaccaro grew up his entire life in the Riverside section of the city.  He is a graduate of PS#18 and Passaic County Technical Institute.  Vaccaro began his adult baseball career in 2002 with the Bergen Dodgers.  In his first adult playing season, Vaccaro was selected to the Summer League All-Star Team as the team's starting centerfielder, while leading the Dodgers in many offensive categories and playing good defense in the outfield.

Vaccaro founded the
Paterson Black Sox in the Fall of 2003, leading his first team to a league's best 8-2 record and a Championship.  Vaccaro was awarded Manager of the Year honors and was also selected to manage the league's All-Star team that season.  Vaccaro is coaching his ninth season in six years in 2008.  In his tenure as a manager, the Paterson Black Sox have made six playoff appearances, with two Championship appearances and one Championship victory in eight seasons.

Scottie Vaccaro is currently a Sheet Metal Mechanic working for the Sheet Metal Worker's Union Local 25 stationed in Carlstadt.  Vaccaro enjoys working out at the gym and riding his motorcycle.

Josh Osband - Assistant Manager
Josh "Oz" Osband grew up in Elmwood Park, NJ, and graduated from Elmwood Park H.S.  He was a student at the University of Rhode Island, and received his bachelor's degree from Rutgers University in Newark.  Osband is currently working at Asta Funding as an accountant.  Grew up admiring his favorite ball player, Mookie Wilson, Osband is often compared to Wally Backman.

Osband was aquired by the
Paterson Black Sox in the Fall of 2004.  He currently holds the second longest active tenure on the team playing in his sixth season in four years, and has over a .300 batting average since joining the Sox.   In 2006, he was selected to play in the Spring League All-Star game.  Osband was officially announced the team's Assistant Manager in the Spring of 2008.

Josh's biggest interests are the New York Mets and playing sports.  He plays baseball most of the year, plays on a softball team in between, and plays flag football in the fall and winter.
