- Co-founded the Paterson Black Sox in the Fall of 2003.
- Won Manager of the Year honors in 2003, after leading the team to an 8-2 record and a championship.
- Named Roy Campanella Fall League All-Star Team manager for 2003.
- Named Tommie Agee Summer League All-Star Team manager for 2004.
- Awarded Golden Glove honors in 2005.
- Selected to the 2002 Tommie Agee League All-Star team as the team's starting centerfielder.
- Managed 2006 Spring team to a Championship Finals appearance after finishing the season 14-6.
Scottie Vaccaro is known for his skill in centerfield, with the ability to cover a lot of ground with a strong throwing arm.  Started as an average hitter at the plate with terrific speed, has now become an excellent on-base player and is still always a threat to steal bases.
